Mandala
Sanskrit: circle
A mandala represents the universe in its ideal form, symbolising unity, wholeness and the infinite cycle of life.
Mandala café opened in summer 2022, joining the ever-increasing number of thriving independent traders and shops on Chesterfield Road.

Mandala is a safe space which provides a warm welcome, great coffee, attentive service, chilled music and good vibes. We value diversity and inclusivity; Mandala is a place where everyone is welcome and can be themselves. We're also dog-friendly!

I wanted to create a space that makes people feel like they are in my home, which I think I've achieved. It's an unsettled world out there, so I like to think of Mandala as a place to decompress and take a break from it all.
As well as delicious coffee and food - including breakfast, brunch and lunch options for meat lovers, veggies, vegans and gluten-free fans - Mandala hosts acoustic gigs and other events. We're not just café, but also a place to meet up with friends, relax and socialise in a space that doesn't have to involve going out to loud clubs and busy bars.

We recently completed some exciting renovations to expand the café into the adjoining unit, greatly increasing our seating capacity so that we're able to welcome even more guests in a more open and comfortable space.

Mandala has gone through an incredible journey so far, and we're delighted to have been supported so positively by the Meersbrook community. We'd like to thank all of our lovely customers for their amazing support so far, and we hope to continue to provide good times (and cake) for many years to come!
